Great determination for BMW Team Italy-Spain for Brands Hatch
The one month long pause between the German race at Oschersleben and the Brands Hatch one allowed BMW Team Italy-Spain's men to focus on the development of the cars for the forthcoming last part of the season.
Last Thursday the team lead by Roberto Ravaglia got on track at Mugello with both drivers: either Alex Zanardi and Felix Porteiro concluded about 250 km to test some new setup solutions devised by technicians to maximize brake performances.
Yesterday afternoon, at Adria raceway, Zanardi warmed up the material that will be used at Monza and Macau.
Roberto Ravaglia (Team Manager):
"The team reacted in the best possible way at the penalization we were subjected to at Oschersleben. During the last few weeks everybody worked hard, giving their best to prove on track our real value, despite the excessive drop-back that Zanardi will have in the next four races starting grids.
Alessandro, like all of us, is firmly convinced to obtain, despite all of this, a good result and in these testing days I saw a great determination in him.
Porteiro did never race at Brands Hatch before, a very demanding track, but I am pretty sure that his talent will allow him to be at ease right after the first free practice session".
