FIVE TEAMS TEST IN VALENCIA
The first WTCC collecitve test of the year will take place in Valencia next week, on Monday and Tuesday. Five teams representing three manufacturers BMW, Chevrolet and SEAT will take part in the test.
Reigning World Champion Andy Priaulx and the RBM-BMW Team UK will lead a BMW five-car-patrol that will also include Schnitzer-BMW Team Germany (two cars for Jörg Müller and new boy Augusto Farfus) and ROAL-BMW Team Italy-Spain (one car to be driven by Alessandro Zanardi on Monday and Félix Porteiro on Tuesday). SEAT Sport and RML-Chevrolet will also join with two machines each. At the Spanish team four drivers will take turns at the wheel of the León cars: Gabriele Tarquini, Yvan Muller, Jordi Gené and Michel Jourdain from Mexico, while Nicola Larini and Alain Menu will drive the Chevrolet Lacetti cars.
WTCC RACES LIVE ON EUROSPORT
Pan European Sports channel Eurosport unveiled their plans for a massive coverage of the 2007 FIA World Touring Car Championship.
The coverage of each race will start with the highlights of the previous round, a presentation of the top-ten drivers on the grid and short, dynamic features to offer the viewers all they have to know about the key points of the races. At the end of each race the podium ceremony and the flash interviews with the top three drivers classified will also be aired.
