SEAT Sport ready to return to Oschersleben

Fresh from an incredible race weekend at Brands Hatch, the SEAT Sport team will barely have had time to let the results sink in before heading to Germany and the next two rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The season's shortest gap between race meetings -- just two weeks -- means there's even more pressure than usual on the team's engineers and mechanics to prepare for the pair of races at Oschersleben on June 4th.

At Brands Hatch, the SEAT Sport team took an unprecedented five out of six possible podium positions to not only lead the Manufacturers' WTCC table, but hold all of the top 3 places in the Drivers' Championship as well. As a result, Yvan Muller, James Thompson and Gabriele Tarquini will all be carrying increased "success ballast" at Oschersleben, leaving Rickard Rydell, Peter Terting and Jordi Gene as the "lighter" members of the SEAT Sport squad. Terting, who finished in an amazing 2nd place on his Brands Hatch debut, will be on home ground in Germany while Round 8 of the series will be James Thompson's 17th race since April 2nd!
