Team owner Dieter Wiechers, from Nienburg is very enthusiastic: "We have chosen Olivier because of his personality and his talent, we can see in him, of the young generation, an potential winner. When he was Formula 3000 driver (2005 / 2005) he went to the DTM (2006) and from the DTM to the FIA WTCC in 2007. We are very happy to announce Olivier as our new driver of 2008"

The German team prepared them selves very good in the winter break for 2008. Wiechers stripped and rebuild the BMW after Macau. There will be a new BMW car for the European races.

Before the season starts in Curitiba (Brazil), Wiechers Motorsport will do some testing. The car will go after the testing directly to Antwerp, where the car will be transported to Brazil and Mexico.

Olivier Tielemans: " I'm looking forward to next season, I learned a lot last year, also of my ex team mate James Thompson. But next season I will try to put the experience of last years, in the BMW E90 320si. Wiechers Motorsport is one of the most professional privateer teams in the FIA World Touring Car Championship, and won there two titles. I'm also very proud to announce ADVANCED LSM - Life Settlements Management - as our new partner.
