HERE WE GO WITH THE COOL STUFF FOR MACAU!
Hi guys, how's it going? No, I didn't get crazy all of a sudden, at least I am not crazier than what I used to be! Anyway, the saying "birds of a feather flock together" is true: a lot of years ago I met along my path a person that became my friend, due to the affinity we have in terms of crazyness. I am talking about "Lucky", that I reckon it's Gianluca's slang, even if I wouldn't bet on it.
Anyway, Lucky, Sly and all the friends from "Kaos Design" are the genius behind a lot of my brainwaves, and I have to admit that this last one is really their work.
Always late, as habit of all great artists, the good Lucky sent me the helmet that I designed for the last two races of the 2008: since we were talking about East, he thought to decorate it with a small flag and the sentence "Thanks for a great 2008" and he finally added spaghetti sticks instead of the usual fork (everything in relief)!
Yes, you got it! Teeth, sticks and spaghetti are three dimensional! I realize that it is difficult to see that from the picture, but believe me, the real effect is cool.
But as my idol, Palmiro Cangini, member of the county council of Roncofritto (if you haven't done that already type "palmiro cangini evro" on youtube, it's worty!) would say": "What did I want to say"? I wanted to say that, no matter how it goes at Macau, the season that is about to finish has been a good one, in which I got some satisfactions and the fact that I used the Brno cup as background in the picture of my "battle helmet" is not by chance.
The one in Czech Republic has been another great satisfaction and it will be difficult to equalize it, not to say beat it. Then you know, a bit of Italian good luck omen, suggested me to put helmet and trophy together, you never know. it might infect with some good virus?!?
Macau won't be easy, especially for me. My Parisian drive put me in the situation of never getting tires into temperature; and if this was an advantage in the past, now with hard compounds used by Yokohama it is getting a big handicap for me. This is especially true on a flying lap in qualifying, since during the race I am constantly among the fastest ones (even if when one starts from the back things get more difficult).
We will see. meanwhile I leave you with a small gift: in the home page of my website you can download an article that I wrote some days ago and that has been published on Sunday on the "Giornale". I have been asked by them to talk about difficult moments. My article follows the two written by Valentino Rossi and Fiorello and I admit I am flattered by getting the "slipstream" of these two guys.
I have got to go now, Niccolo is getting home from school and I promised I will take him and his friends to eat something in confectioner's where they have some fresh small pizzas that are almost better than those I make myself!!!
Long life to modesty, ciaoooooo
