Renault Sport Technologies and the World Series by Renault Organizing Committee confirmed, Tuesday 25 February 2014, the teams selected for the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series. The teams entered begin testing today.

The 13 teams preselected in November have confirmed their desire to participate in the championship while providing the necessary guarantees to the organization. More than ever before, continuity will be the watchword of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, because all 13 teams entered in 2014 are returnees from 2013.

There are three name changes for this season. Arden Caterham Motorsport will now be known as Arden Motorsport. P1 Motorsport by Strakka now races under the Strakka Racing banner, the same name as the team competing in Endurance. And AV Formula will now race as AVF.

The drivers and teams in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series will now take part in two three-day collective test sessions before the first race of the season at Monza on 12-13 April.
