Mathias Lauda will test the World Series car in Valencia
Barcelona, 28th August 2003 - Mathias Lauda, that already drive for Vergani Formula in the World Series Light championship, will test the next 1st and 2nd of September a Dallara Nissan SN01 car in the Circuit of Valencia.
This test is allowed by the special rules of the "Superfund World Series by Nissan" championship that allows the teams to test new drivers, completely foreign to the series, for a maximum of 2000 Km during the season.
LAUDA will have the opportunity to made its first run in a single-seater that almost doubles the power of the Dallara AER car (450 HP vs 250 HP)
Lauda will remain in the Circuit of Valencia joining most of the teams of the World Series Light and the Spanish Formula Junior Championship for the scheduled Collective Test that will take place the next 4th and 5th of September.
World Series Light and Formula Junior Championship collective test at the Circuito de la Comunidad Valenciana
After the summer brake, the teams of the World Series Light and the Spanish Formula Junior 1600 Championship restart the sporting activities with two days of collective testing the following 4th and 5th of September.
This event, organized by R.P.M. Racing, will have all the emotion of an official test The Collective Test will be held at the Circuito de la Comunidad Valenciana, in Cheste.
Regarding the World Series Light, Adrian Vallés is still leading with 85 points, followed by J.Alvarez (66 points) and M.Pavlovic (48 points). The entered drivers of the World Series Light are going to be exhaustively preparing for the next meeting which will be in A1 Ring the 21st of September.
Briere steps in the World Series Light
The french driver Bastien Briere has signed an agreement for the next 2 meetings (Austria and Catalunya) with the italian team RC Motorsport. Briere, born the 24th May 1983 was racing for the 2nd year in the Renault French Formula. Briere is substituting the brazilian driver Wagner Ebrahim.
RC Motorsport has invited the young Italian driver Andrea Ceccato to test it's Dallara AER, the official car of the World Series Light.
To end up, just remind that the following 20th october the three categories of the Superfund World Series by Nissan (World Series, World Series Light and the Formula Junior 1600 Champinship) will be held at the Circuit of Valencia. It will be the meeting prior to the last of the Season, a meeting that will be full of emotion and competitivity.
