Barcelona, 7 May 2002 Two new drivers may enter the World Series category, before the Series quick's off this weekend at the Valencian Circuit.
The Brazilian driver Luciano Gomide, in a last minute move, has joined the Belgian squad KTR, alongside the also Belgian driver, Bas Leinders.
GD Racing has confirmed the arrival of the Mexican Roberto González. Gonzalez, 25-years-old, has competed in the FC Euro-Series after taking part in the Indy Lights Panamerican.
Another Team, Zele Motorsport, is currently in talks with the Reunion Danish driver Kristian Kolby. He may enter the series soon. The only confirmed driver in the Austrian squad is the Argentinean Nicolás Filiberti.
ANDER VILARIÑO WITH THE 'REAL SOCIEDAD'
The participation of the Basque driver Ander Vilariño in the Epsilon by Graff Team will be announced this afternoon at an official launch taking place at San Sebastián. The Football Team ^ÌReal Sociedad' and the Diputación Foral De Guipúzcoa, an official Basque institution, will sponsor the Former F3 Spaniard Champ.
This will be the third driver that will have the support of a Football Team. Last week, the FC Barcelona, the Spanish soccer giant, announced his support to the Brazilian drivers, Ricardo Zonta and Tuka Rocha (Gabord Competición).
