The races in Magny Cours have demonstrated all the talent coming from the World Series Light drivers. Fights, overtaking, last minute podium's-- Both races were developed under very different weather conditions. Julien Vidot (Epsilon by Graff) achieved his first victory in the first and wet race of World Series Light at the Circuit Nevers-Magny Cours with a total time of 32:02.172. In a dry set-up, Juan Cruz Alvarez reached his first victory in Race 2.
Alvarez profited a mistake of Celso Miguez in the start and led the race until the end, followed by Miguez and Alvaro Barba. But Finally Barba got a penalty of 25 seconds because he shortcut the chicane, after having a contact with Milos Pavlovic. The Yugoslavian driver find himself in the third place, as the French team Epsilon by Graff steps in the second position of the overall.
The race was marked by the crash of Mateo Pellegrino (RC Motorsport) in the main track. The car went off the grass and hit the wall of the main track. The driver escaped safe. The circuit Marshall's needed almost two laps to clear the car.
The rhythm of the race imposed by Cruz Alvarez was quite good and the current leader, Adrian Valles, was going to reach his teammate very soon. Both contacted in the same lap before the young Adrian tried to overtake Barba at the Lycee with unsuccessfully. Valles went off, and went to see the doctor for a bandage in his left hand. Pavlovic and Vidot were also in the same speed but the winner of the first race decided to cal down and entered in 4th position.
After a mechanical-troubled weekend for Ananda Mikola, the Indonesian set a good pace in second race, finishing in the 5th position.

The race was declared wet after the heavy storms of the night. It was reining heavily also this morning, one hour before the race. As it is said that the maximum race time is 30 minutes the chequered flag was shown in lap 15.
The 20-year old French driver backed by the Shandong Luneg Taishain Football Club started from P3 and managed to overtake his teammate Milos Pavlovic who was leading the race until the eleventh lap, and finally finished in the third position. Pavlovic has reported some problems with the power of the engine and the grip. Vidot also set the fastest lap of the race so he has now two extra points and steps from the 9th to the 5th position in the overall.
Juan Cruz Alvarez has made a fantastic race as he started the race from the pits after a start engine problem has been found in his car when he was in the grid. The young Argentinean managed to make some spectacular overtaking.
Valles had some problems with his car and he finished in 6th `position. He is the leader with 85 points. Juan Cruz is now second in the Series with 44 pt. The young Mathias Lauda, second in the overall with 42 pt, did a beautiful performance, starting from p8 and finishing in p5.
Ananda Mikola did not complete one lap as he spun in the first corner, and Pablo Donoso retired in the last lap with the same problems in the brakes of the Dallara-AER car.

"It has been such a fantastic race! I could have fight for the victory but I prefer to be conservative and keep my second position. After all the struggling during the weekend it's better to score some points! We have a wonderful car for the second race!"

" We had a problem with the gear box and Y did a mistake in the start. Y brake but then it was too late to catch up Juan. In the middle of then race Y almost had no gears, Y could feel how forced was my car in the main track."
P3 MILOS PAVLOVIC (EPSILON BY GRAFF)
" I'm happy to see myself in this position. I still have a lot of problems with my engine. I'm keen to get to A1-RING (AUSTRIA) in September, I only know the track for the play station, but it looks good."
