Karun Chandhok will race in the World Series by Renault with RC Motorsport, the team he competed with last year alongside Narain Kartikheyan.

Chandhok is determined to find a place by his own in this top single-seater category and has concluded a positive agreement with RC Motorsport.

Last year, he made his debut in the World Series within the Italian team, joining compatriot Narain Kartikheyan for the last two meetings, where he got some stunning results finishing his last race in 4th position and qualifying always in top ten positions.

Karun is delighted with to have secured a driver in this category, from where he hopes to follow Narain's footsteps: " I was looking forward to do a full race year in the World Series, specially with the new Formula Renault 3.5 which looks really good. It's fantastic to take part in a Renault's championship, especially now that they are in India. "

17 year-old Italian driver Giovanni Tedeschi will be the other driver in the RC Motorsport's World Series Team. Team principal, Carlo Migliavaca, is confident with his selection: " With Tedeschi and Chandhok we combine young's, talent and also the interests we have in our country, Italy, and in the emerging countries for motorsport, like India."
