Hockenheim: 4th Berthon, 10th Leal. Great recovery for the Draco Drivers
The third from last stage of the season World Series by Renault finishes at Hockenheim circuit in Germany today with the second race of the weekend, which provide a downforce heavier than Race 1 and a mandatory Pit Stop.
In the qualifying session this morning, Nathanael Berthon of Draco Team is ranked eighth with a time of 1:27.144, starting in the 4th row. His teammate Julian Leal is in the 9th row in the grid. Before the race the team decided to change most of the car set-up of the Colombian and the results are remarkable. Leal is indeed a good feeling in the race, thanks to the perfect set-up of his car by the mechanics and the advance Pit Stop that is made in the early laps as possible from regulation. At the checkered flag Leal is 10th., with 8 positions recovered from to the starting grid.
Fourth place for Berthon in the final classification with a recovery of four positions, two with overtakings in the laps after the start and other 2 thanks to perfect strategy in the pits with a pit stop very quickly made the laps following of the pit stop of Leal. Berthon is also on the podium of the rookies in third place.
The appointment is now for the penultimate stage of the year, which will see Draco drivers faced with Silverstone circuit in England on 18 and 19 September.
