Negrao and De Jong today with Draco in the collective test in Barcelona
For the second day of collective test at the Circuit of Catalunya in view of the new season, the Draco Team took to the track again Andre Negrao, who yesterday showed good performance, and Daniel De Jong, in 2010 in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0.
The morning began with a wet track that started to dry only toward the end of the session with good times for both drivers: Negrao ends with 1'37"490 and 34 laps, while De Jong with 1'39"220 and 33 laps.
In the first hour of the afternoon session, Negrao started well with 1'37"071, but then the Brazilian driver tests a different line on the track and in bend 3 he breaks the gear damaging the car and he is forced to finish his test. De Jong however continues and with the first set of new tires he reduces his time, winning the 6th place with the fastest lap of 1'35 "332. The Dutch driver goes on track for several laps, but he begins to feel too tired for the difficult driving in a car 3.5. Satisfy, however, the team for his performance.
Draco Team leaves Barcelona to return on track in Alcaniz next week with other 3 days of collective test.
