The day started on a positive note as yesterday's rainy clouds were replaced by a warm sun. Still, as Saturday's showers cleared the track of all the rubber that had been deposited on track in Friday's Free Practice, drivers found the track to be green and very slippery.

In such tricky conditions both Draco's youngsters did a marvelous job in Qualifying: André Negrão secured P6 on the grid, while Nico Muller closed the session in 8th place, meaning a 4th row start for Race 2.

The beginning of the race brought more good news for the Italian team: thanks a slingshot getaway Muller entered Turn 1 in 5th place, while Negrao managed to keep his position, closing the first lap in 6th.

From then on the Draco pair started lapping on a steady pace, without making any mistake and bagging some very useful points that allowed the team to climb to 3rd place in the series Team's Standings.

Nico Muller (Q2 - P8; R2 – P5):
“My qualifying was a bit spoilt by traffic so given the car's potential I wasn't too happy about the result. In the race, anyway, I made up some places with a good start and then I managed to make the most of my package. I was way quicker than Melker who finished ahead of me, but on this track you just can't overtake. I tried to put him under pressure but he didn't make any mistake, so I had to stick with P5, which means some good points added to yesterday's win".

André Negrão (Q2 – P6; R2 - P6): “We had a really good car today, considering that in Qualifying my laptime could have been even a bit better. In the race I was quick, but given the layout of the track that makes overtaking nearly impossible I focused on bringing some points home to make up for yesterday's bad luck. Our strategy worked well and we could keep P6 easily, so I'd say that we absolutely met our goal".
