Lady luck turned her back on Draco Racing on the third and last day of the Spa-Francorchamps F.Renault 3.5 weekend.

The Belgian round of World Series by Renault ended with two DNFs for the team owned by Guto Negrao, with no points added to the outfit's championship tally. Pietro Fantin, who lined-up on third row of the grid after a very positive performance in Qualifying, found himself stuck in an unbelievable replay of Race 1: if yesterday it had been Van Buuren who had punted him at Les Combes, today it was Sirotkin's turn. However, the outcome was exactly the same with Pietro spinning into the wall and retiring from the race.

Luca Ghiotto, who yesterday had recovered to P6 delivering a jaw-dropping pass at Eau Rouge, today had to swallow a bitter pill as well, parking his car trackside due to a major issue with the car's pneumatic pump, the system that activates both gearbox and DRS. The malfunction had hampered Luca since the start of the race, but on lap 16 the shifter stopped working and the Italian youngster had no other option than stopping the car.

Simone Giglio (Team Manager): "In days like this there's nothing to say, you just have to put what happened behind your back and focus on the next challenge. Obviously we're disappointed for our drivers, especially because they're completely blameless. Pietro was taken out of the race for the second day in a row, exactly in the same spot. Luca was stopped by a failure on a part that had been changed recently and was very far from the end of its lifespan. It's a pity, but this mean that we'll be even more focused in Moscow in three weeks time".
