World Series by Renault will visit 9 countries in 2005

World Series by Renault organizers Renault Sport Technologies and RPM are pleased to announce the provisional calendar for its the category's first season in 2005. The racing season will start on the May 1 at Zolder in Belgium and will close on October 16 at Monza in Italy.

The provisional calendar features nine European meeetings that include eight double headers and one stand-alone race. The series will visit Belgium, Monaco, France, Germany, Spain, Britain, The Netherlands, Portugal and Italy.

In addition to the Bilbao street races on July 24, which will feature the World Series by Renault V6, the World Series Formula Renault 2000 and the World Series Megane Trophy, the legendary Monaco circuit will host the new Formula Renault V6 on the same weekend as the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
