Baz crashes, Millet 32nd

Two small crashes for Loris Baz without consequences, as the Yamaha rider will start tomorrow in 20th position. He should score several points and he will keep for sure the leadership of the championship. His main opponent Patrick Vostarek could only qualify in 12th position. The rain in Donington was a big problem for all the riders.

Franck Millet was 32nd of the qualifying practices, while Xavier Simeon (Suzuki) was the fastest of all.

Loris Baz: " Overall, the result of these two days of practice is average. I had two little crashes, but this is my first time in the rain and my first time on this track. On the first day, I had a small technical problem and I missed half of the session but I still finished fourth. On Saturday, I crashed after four laps and I could not re-join because my bike was damaged. In fact I crashed because I felt I was not fast, when in reality-- I was first! Maybe I wanted to do too much. It will be OK for the race."

Martial Garcia (team-manager): "Loris crashed on a drying track, but the house is not on fire. He is 20th on the starting grid, and his mission is to score some points."
