Russell Holland ready to race at Brno

One week after World Supersport Championship race in Misano the HANNspree Honda Althea team moved to Vallelunga circuit near Rome, Italy for a 2 day test session on July 8 and 9.

Russell Holland took the chance to learn the Italian circuit that will host the 12th round, on September 21st, and to improve his confidence with the CBR 600RR.

The Australian rider is now ready to compete for his personal second weekend in World Supersport on the 5.403km track of Brno, Czech Republic.

"I learnt alot more about getting the most out of a 600 Supersport machine during the test in Vallelunga", said Russell Holland. "This was also the first time for me at Vallelunga circuit. It has an old track surface and the layout is quite challenging. We also managed a race simulation on the second day which was important for me and for the setup. I'm happy to have visited a new track before the race and really looking forward to returning there in September".

"Now this weekend we are in Brno in the Czech Republic for round 9 of the World Supersport Championship. I know that Brno has just been resurfaced so a good setup for tyre life will be crucial. It will be another new track for me but I'm confident with the Hannspree Honda Althea team we can make a strong performance here. Misano seems like so long ago now and I'm looking forward to getting on track again".
