DIFFICULT PRACTICE FOR NAKATOMI

After two days of permanent rain, Shinichi Nakatomi could only qualify in 30th position. The quickest rider of the Superpole was the leader of the World Championship Troy Bayliss (Ducati).

Nakatomi, not very much at ease on the wet, had some difficulties during the qualifying sessions at Donington. The level was very high, with 6 very fast British wild card riders. The Superpole was wet like the rest of the practice sessions, and with very little grip the Australian rider Troy Bayliss was the fastest and will start tomorrow from the pole position.

Shinichi Nakatomi: "The conditions have been difficult. Today my feeling was better than yesterday. My lap time and my grid position are not very satisfying. We did not have enough time and the team did not have enough information. I hope it will be dry tomorrow."
