Great driving and a problem-free day have put Petter and Chris in fifth place in the overall classification. Sebastien Loeb is still leading the rally, with his team-mate Dani Sordo in second. CJT-driver Sebastien Ogier is third, while Latvala is fourth. Mikko Hirvonen had to retire with transmission problems on SS13, and Francois Duval retired after he rolled on SS14.

Petter and Chris started the day in ninth position, after two punctures cost them a lot of time yesterday. Being ninth on the road today didn't give them the best roadposition, as the cars in front throws a lot of dirt on to the stages when they cut corners. Petter and Chris were fastest on two of todays 8 stages, and that puts them second in the unofficial list of stage wins so far this season. Loeb is leading.

- Today has been really good fun, says Petter Solberg. - The car is definitely the best car on tarmac, and being fastest on Panzerplatte today were awesome. I got the splits in the car during the stage, and it felt so good to know that we took second after second on Loeb. And after the accident on Panzerplatte in 2004, it feels extremely good to have defeated Panzerplatte - so Phil, this one is for you!

5 more stages to go here in Germany tomorrow, first car will be on the road from 0728.
