RALLY RACC CATALUNYA-COSTA DOURADA PREVIEW

The Subaru Rally Team Spain will take part in the Rally RACC Catalunya-Costa Dourada, the Spanish round of the World Rally Championship which will be held this weekend based around Salou on the Catalonian coast. The works team of Subaru Spain will enter two KRS prepared Imprezas Prodrives for Egoi Eder Valdes-Daniel Lucas and Marcos Barquin Diego-Vicente Diego.

For Egoi participation in the RACC rally will mean he gets back to his PWRC program in the best possible way, in the home event for every Spanish driver and at the wheel of a car as competitive as the Subaru group N prepared by KRS. He will be hoping to score his best result so far in the category.

In Marcos' case, the Catalunya-Costa Dourada will be his first outing with the Subaru Rally Team Spain, doing it in no less than a World Rally championship event. Quite a challenge for the young Cantabrian driver who has been excelling in his runs at national and regional rallies and this weekend will be an important step forward in his career.

Both drivers will be backed by the technical expertise of KRS, whose staff is already finishing all the last details in order that the debut of the Subaru Rally Team Spain in the World Rally championship is a total success.

The Rally RACC Catalunya-Costa Dourada (Rally of Spain) will be run over three days, with a first leg on Friday of six stages, followed by another six to be run on Saturday for the second leg, the event being completed on Sunday with yet another six timed stages. All in all 18 special stages and more than 350 timed kilometres where the Subaru Rally Team Spain will compete alongside the world's best rally drivers.
