- It feels extremely good to finish the day in second place, says Petter Solberg. - I did say yesterday that I was going for second today, so I'm sticking to my plan. Lost some time this morning, but other than that I am very happy with the result. I am really looking forward to having a proper fight with Dani tomorrow, I know he will be pushing, but I will do whatever I can to keep my place.

6 stages have been competed today, and Petter and Chris started the day in fourth position. They climbed ahead of Latvala and to third on the first stage of the day, and took second place on the next stage. Sebastien Ogier went off the road on SS8 and lost 15 minutes while repairing the car. A stage win wrapped up the second day for Petter and Chris, as they were fastest through the live broadcasted SS12.

Only 4 more stages to go tomorrow, but two of them are the longest ones of the rally; 42kms. First car will be on the road from 0840.
