It's a VW 1-2 after Day One, but Sebastien Ogier is nowhere to be found.
Jari-Matti Latvala is in command of Rally France as we head into the second day of competition. His teammate Andreas Mikkelsen ended the day P2 and 8.2 seconds adrift of the lead. Citroen's Kris Meeke was third, 23.1 seconds back.
Dani Sordo is closing in from fourth place, but is still 28 seconds away from the podium. Rounding out the top five was Mads Ostberg. The rest of the top ten was filled by Mikko Hirvonen, Robert Kubica, Bryan Bouffier, Martin Prokop, and Elfyn Evans.
Sebastien Ogier's home event has been a nightmare, as Motorsport.com reportered earlier, and he's currently eight minutes and 52 seconds behind in 28th. Quentin Gilbert leads WRC 2.
At 125.50km, tomorrow's leg will be the longest and put both man and machine to the ultimate test.
