The Hyundai driver took his ninth stage win of the event in the second run of Cala Flumini before cruising through the Power Stage, which was won by Sebastien Ogier.

The championship leader salvaged three extra points despite making a small mistake at a hairpin, with Kevin Abbring and Jari-Matti Latvala completing the top three, the Dutchman scoring his first WRC points.

Latvala ended up second overall followed by Ogier and Dani Sordo, the duo continuing to score in every rally of the season.

Ott Tanak matched his team DMACK's top finish in fifth, with fellow Ford drivers Eric Camilli and Henning Solberg behind him.

Teemu Suninen took his second WRC2 victory of the season in eighth, followed by rivals Jan Kopecky and Karl Kruuda.
