World of Outlaws Cancels Bud Carson Memorial OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (June 23) - For the second time this season, rain has forced the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series to cancel a race at State Fair Speedway. After postponing Tuesday's Bud Carson Memorial, the series canceled the event Wednesday when the rain continued to fall on the semi-banked, 1/2-mile oval. The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series also canceled the April 25th event at State Fair Speedway when rain made the track unsafe for racing. The series will sanction the 16th Annual Eagle Nationals at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, NE, Friday and Saturday. Defending Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series champion Steve Kinser won the 1998 Eagle Nationals. TNN Motorsports will televise the June 19th race from the O'Reilly's Auto Parts Sunflower Shootout at Heartland Park Topeka Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. (EDT).
