WESMAR Runs 1-2 At Woo Louisiana Event

WESMAR Racing Engines took the top two finishing positions in World of Outlaws competition at Thunder Valley Speedway Friday.

Shane Stewart picked up his first full-points World of Outlaws win with the Scott Chilcutt-owned, Rob and Kathy Hart-tuned WESMAR powered Ol' Glory entry. Stewart earned the team $10,000 for his flag to flag romp over the field.

"This is just awesome!" exclaimed Stewart from victory lane. "This team is incredible; we've been fast all year long. We picked up Ol' Glory as a sponsor, and I wish Carson and those guys could be here to celebrate with us tonight. This MIN Motorsports car with Hoosier tires and a Wesmar engine was great tonight."

Terry McCarl earned $5,500 for his runner-up finish in the Big Game Hunting WESMAR-powered entry. McCarl started fourth in the 24-car field and battled to his second-place finish in the 35-lap A main.
