'TK' to Get Back on Track at Manzanita

PHOENIX, AZ (February 28) -- After rain turned them away the last two weekends, Tim Kaeding and his Tom Rolfe Racing teammates are eager to get back on the racetrack. They will get their chance in Saturday's World of Outlaws event at historic Manzanita Speedway.

Driving the #10 J.F. McCray Plastering Maxim into the top 10 in all three feature races in the 37th Annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park three weeks ago pushed "TK" into seventh place in the World of Outlaws point standings. Kaeding, who received the National Sprint Car Poll's "Wild Card" Award for exciting performances in 2007, raced into 10th place from outside the ninth row in the DIRTcar Nationals finale on February 10th.

Kaeding's last visit to the home of the Western World Championships was a successful one as he raced past six cars to finish fourth in a World of Outlaws "A" Feature last March 3rd. "TK" was the ninth-fastest qualifier, just .235 seconds off the pace. After winning the First Heat Race, fuel pump problems plagued him in the Crane Cams Dash, causing to finish 10th. He came back strong in the 30-lap main event, however, with his first of many top-five finishes in 2007.
