Steve Kinser Remains On Top Of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series Standings

Knoxville, IA -- August 15, 2005 -- By Chris Dolack, World of Outlaws Senior Writer

As the World of Outlaws Sprint Series begins a tour through the northwestern region of the United States and eventually down to California, Steve Kinser continues to lead the championship standings in his quest for a 20th series title.

Each team received 75 points during the Knoxville Nationals so no positions have changed in the standings since the series raced Aug. 5 at Eldora Speedway. All that could change beginning Tuesday night at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, N.D., where Jason Meyers captured the Duel in the Dakotas on July 2.

Keep track of all the upcoming West Coast action as the series begins its stretch run toward the championship weekend Oct. 21-22 in Las Vegas by visiting the Internet home of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series at http://www.dirtmotorsports.com/sprint or tune into the Dirt Radio Network at http://www.dirtvision.com to hear announcer John Gibson call the action.
