"HOT FOOT" JASON MEYERS RAINED OUT AT TRI-STATE SPEEDWAY

CLOVIS, Calif. (April 20, 2008) - Waking up to earthquakes and sunny skies on Friday morning, the state of Indiana, along with the World of Outlaws (WoO), was looking forward to a great weekend of racing. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas yet again. Clovis, California native Jason Meyers arrived in Indiana on Friday night, waking up with the full intentions of racing at Tri-State Speedway, a tight, fast, high-banked ¼ mile track located near Evansville, Ind.

RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY; COME AGAIN ON A NON-RACEDAY

With rain falling all night Friday night and into Saturday morning, track promoter Tommy Helfrich, known as one of the best track preparation men in the country, knew he may have been up against a little too much Mother Nature. Track officials and WoO officials made the mutual decision to postpone the event to July 6th.

"It's disappointing, that's for sure," said Meyers. "After our last outing (at Eldora Speedway) we were looking forward to coming out here tonight and getting ourselves back into the swing of things, not to mention, we really enjoy racing here."

UP NEXT FOR ELITE RACING:

The Elite Racing Team is looking forward to the events at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D. on Friday, April 25 and the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa on Saturday, April 26.

Greetings!

What another bummer weekend!!! I know that I for one, was definitely looking forward to the race at Tri-State, as were a lot of you. I heard on Wednesday that the track was sold out of reserved seating! There is nothing better than watching a big race at Haubstadt, and looking out to see every single seat in the grandstands full!

The guys will be heading out to Huset's and Knoxville this week...make sure you stop by and say hello.

If you want a chance to golf with Jason, or any of the other Outlaws, let me know and I can get you the forms for the Benevolent Fund Golf Outing. It's a great time and it all goes to a great cause.

We are still making changes to our newsletter, so please continue to send comments and well-wishes in! We love hearing from you.

Thanks for all of your support and we hope to see you at a track soon!

Sincerely,
Marie Osborn, Elite Racing Team
