DOLLANSKY MAKES IT TWO STRAIGHT FOR J&J IN WOO ACTION

PHOENIX, AZ - Craig Dollansky and his Karavan Trailers racing team were hoping for strong start to the 2005 season as they debuted a new J&J in Florida. After several top ten runs, the Elk River, MN native has scored back-to-back World of Outlaws Sprint series wins in the #7 J&J including Friday's preliminary feature win in the Cactus Classic at Manzanita Speedway near Phoenix, AZ.

"We're really thrilled with our decision to make a change and use J&J Auto Racing cars this season," said Dollansky. "DJ (Lindsey) and I have been communicating really well and I feel like I have a better understanding of the racecar. The quality and performance of these cars has helped us get off to a good start. We're really excited about the season and hope to continue working with J&J for a long time to come."

Dollansky scored Friday night's WoO "A" feature after a race-long duel with Danny Lasoski. Dollansky made his final move in the #7 Karavan Trailers J&J coming off of Turn 4 with two laps to go in the 25-lap race. Dollansky admitted in victory lane that sometimes being in second has its advantages.

"Danny was doing a great job there, but sometimes it's to your advantage when you're running second," said Dollansky, who closed to within six points of series leader Steve Kinser with his victory Friday night. "He was doing what he needed to do there, just sometimes it works out in your favor and sometimes it doesn't. Tonight it worked out in our favor."

Dollansky was hoping to make it three straight wins on Saturday night in Phoenix, but Mother Nature played havoc on the Outlaws and forced race officials to postpone the finale until October 11th.
