Concord, NC-- October 24, 2008--Leading up to second annual VAULT World Finals, October 30-November 1 at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, as well as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, each of the seven drivers that has won an Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series title will be featured for seven consecutive days, chronologically and by the number of titles that they won.

The second driver to be featured will be three-time Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion Sammy Swindell. The Tennessee native won his first World of Outlaws titles in 1981 and earned his second consecutive title the following year. He won his third championship in 1997 and currently is the only driver other than Steve Kinser to win at least three series titles.

Swindell, who still occasionally competes with the series, won his first career Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Feature at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Texas in the series inaugural season of 1978, and his most recent win with the series came in 2006 at Eldora Speedway. He won a career-high 28 A-Feature events with the World of Outlaws in 1981, when he claimed his first series title.

Among the wins in his career is the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway three times. He also claimed the 1983 Knoxville Nationals, as well as the National Open at Williams Grove Speedway in 1997. Swindell also has won the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway and the Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in California.

In his career at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Swindell has one win and six career Top-10 finishes. He won the series inaugural race at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway in 2000, picking up a preliminary feature victory.

The finale of the VAULT World Finals will air live on SPEED beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, November 1. The October 31 portion of the VAULT World Finals will be taped for broadcast and will air on SPEED on Saturday, November 8 at 9 p.m. Eastern.

On Thursday, October 30 at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motors Speedway, adult tickets will be $10, with tickets for children 12-under just $5.

On Friday, October 31 at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway, adult tickets will be $35, with tickets for children 12-under just $10.

On Saturday, November 1 at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway, adult tickets will be $35, with tickets for children 12-under just $10.
