Notes:

Donny Schatz changed engines after warm-ups
Brent Kaeding changed engines after qualifying
Brandon Wimmer changed engines after qualifying
Jason Meyers changed engines after qualifying
Jason Sides changed engines after his heat race.
Tim Shaffer was leading heat race #3 when he lost an engine.
Danny Lasoski changed engines after his heat race.
Jason Sides was running 3rd in the second dash when he ran out of fuel coming to the checkered flag.

A-main

Lap 1--Donny Schatz got the jump off of turn 4 to take the lead. Mark Kinser passed Randy Hannagan for 5th low in 3&4. With one lap complete, red flag for Sparky Howard, who flipped on the backstretch. Howard was uninjured.

Lap 8--Traffic. Donny Schatz's lead 8 carlengths over Daryn Pittman

Lap 12--Donny Schatz's lead 14 carlengths over Daryn Pittman

Lap 14--Caution for Brandon Wimmer, who stopped in turn 1 with a rear end vibration. Wimmer pitted and restarted.

Lap 16--Craig Dollansky passed Stephen Allard for 10th low exiting turn 2

Lap 17--Red flag for Brandon Wimmer, who lost an engine in turn 3. Wimmer was able to escape the flames uninjured.

Lap 25--Donny Schatz won by 20 carlengths. Schatz's right rear tire went flat in victory lane.
