World of Outlaws, Speed Channel announce telecast dates

ALLEN, TX (May 15) -- The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series announced the telecast dates of its 2002 races on Speed Channel Wednesday.

Speed Channel will televise six double-feature events on a tape-delayed basis, each starting at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursdays.

The Duel in the Dakotas from Red River Valley Speedway (July 5-6) will be telecast July 18th and July 25th. The Eldora Clash and Kings Royal from Eldora Speedway (July 19-20) will be shown August 15th and September 5th. Speed Channel will air the Mopar Parts Knoxville Nationals (August 7-10) from Knoxville Raceway September 26th and October 24th. The O'Reilly Texas Showdown from Texas Motor Speedway (September 12th and 14th) will be telecast November 7th and December 5th. The Outlaws Championship from The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway (October 11-12) will be aired December 12th and December 26th. Speed Channel will telecast the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series season finale (November 8-9) from Las Vegas Motor Speedway January 2nd and January 9th in 2003.
