Rebellion concludes AER installation test

Rebellion's new car was tested at Paul Ricard this week.

Rebellion Racing has completed initial testing of its new AER powered chassis at Paul Ricard this week ahead of the official test day at Le Mans next Sunday.

Dominik Kraihamer and the teams’ new recruit Alexandre Imperatori shared the test duties in the South of France where AER and ORECA engineers joined Rebellion in evaluating the new installation and some additional bodywork changes.

Although not at the test, as he is on Formula E duty in Berlin, Rebellion driver Nicolas Prost commented on the objectives for Le Mans, saying: “I hear that the engine seems quite good but we are also running out of time now, but we will see what we can do. I am scheduled to test on Monday of next week but it depends on how things went today at the track.”

Also scheduled to test at Paul Ricard next Monday and getting his first taste of an LMP1 car will be Daniel Abt.
