Porsche has seemed to have found its stride in practice, claiming two of the top three slots.

The #14 Porsche 919 Hybrid of Dumas/Jani/Lieb paced the field ahead of the #7 Toyota TS 040 of Wurz/Sarrazin/Conway.

The Berhard/Webber/Hartley driven #20 Porsche wrapped up the session in third.

The only Audi that hit the track this session was the #2, as the #1 is still out being worked on. Reports state that the tub is being replaced, and the car, pending a miracle will miss qualifying as well.

The Zlobin/Minassian/Mediani driven #27 SMP Racing Oreca-Nissan paced the LMP2 ranks ahead of G-Drive’s Rusinov/Pla/Canal #26 Ligier. SMP Racing wrapped up the top three with its other entry #37.

Ferrari was on top in P3 with the Bruni/Vilander F458 Italia edging the #91 Porsche 911 RSR. Aston Martin stole third and fourth with the #97  Vantage V8 of Turner/Mucke and #99 Vantage V8 of MacDowall/Rees/Al Faisal.

The Vantage V8 prevailed in LMGTE Am with the Dalla Lana/Pamy/Nygaard #98 entry taking the top spot in the class. AF Corse’s #61 of Talkanitsa/Pier Guidi/Segal ended the session third in class, with the #95 Aston Martin of Poulsen/Heinemeier-Hanss/Thiim taking third.

Qualifying is slated for 5 p.m. local time.
