Pecom Racing gained its first, well-deserved victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship (Wec). At the end of the “6 Hours of Bahrain”, Luis Perez Companc, Pierre Kaffer and Nicolas Minassian took the top step of the podium of the LMP2 category thanks to a perfect race. The teamwork was perfect as was the strategy from the pit wall.
Perez Companc was at the wheel and went straight on the first position in his two stints after a tight challenge with Vitantonio Liuzzi (ex-Formula 1 driver).
