The new ORECA 05 LMP2 car undertook its first mileage today at a blustery and damp Paul Ricard.
The KCMG chassis was finished yesterday at the Ricard based ORECA headquarters before being readied this morning.
It completed a "handful of shakedown laps" in the late afternoon French time.
Current Toyota works driver Stephane Sarrazin undertook the shakedown duties.
Regular KCMG drivers Richard Bradley and Matt Howson will get seat time tomorrow and Wednesday.
Murphy Prototypes was the only other LMP2 team in action at the track today, with Karun Chandhok undertaking a few exploratory laps in their familiar ORECA-Nissan.
