"I’m really happy that Richie Stanaway will join Young Driver AMR this weekend“, Young Driver AMR´s Jan Struve says ahead of the second world championship round. "He showed great speed last season and he is a perfect addition to the team. After our back-to-back victory at Silverstone, we are now looking for another podium finish at Spa-Francorchamps. Silverstone showed already what we expected: The competition in the GTE Am class is much harder then last season. Due to a zero error job of the entire team, good tactics and a great performance of our drivers, we could beat our competitors. I really hope we can repeat this at Spa and can collect more silverware."

Young Driver team member Christoffer Nygaard will share once again the #98 NorthWest Aston Martin Racing-Aston Martin Vantage GTE with Pedro Lamy and Paul Dalla Lana. Nygaard finished second in the GTE Am class at the season opening round in England.

The second round of the FIA WEC is a two-day event with the race start Saturday at 14:30 hours. Eurosport will broadcast the final two hours of the race live starting at 18:30 hours.
