Our new partnership enables companies with smaller budgets or new start-ups to become involved in the exciting world of motorsport
Dr. Colin Kolles
With a new gear box, new front and rear suspension, aerodynamic modifications and performance upgrades throughout, including significant weight reductions, the team
have made real progress on the CLM P1.
A learning process
Commenting on the season ahead, ByKOLLES Director of Operations, Boris Bermes said: “We learnt a lot last year, we faced many challenges but we made very good progress against the odds however we were aware that significant improvements
needed to be made for the 2015 season. The team has worked hard since the end of least season to produce, what I believe to be a highly competitive car. As always, I’m cautiously optimistic about this year but let’s see what testing brings.”
Aesthetic overhaul
In addition to technical upgrades, the CLM P1 has had a dramatic aesthetic overhaul featuring a striking new yellow, black and grey livery. The new colour scheme is in part down to an exciting new partnership with Austrian based sports sponsorship company YELLOWWINGS.
Commenting on the YELLOWINGS partnership Dr Colin Kolles said: “Our new partnership enables companies with smaller budgets or new start-ups to become involved in the exciting world of motorsport. YELLOWINGS simple yet brilliant technology opens the doors to an area formerly the reserve of big-budget businesses and gives organisations greater accessibility to this proven brand communications platform.
I believe that anything that brings new partners and revenue to our industry
is a good thing for the sport overall.”
The new CLM P1/01 will be unveiled ahead of the official pre-season test session at Paul Ricard in March. Further driver and sponsor announcements will be made in due course.
