Bakersfield, CA 3/14/06 - The Goodguys 47th March Meet presented by Clay Smith Cams, originally scheduled for March 10-12 will be run in its entirety the weekend of March 17, 18 & 19 at Auto Club Famoso Raceway just north of Bakersfield.
The postponement marked the first time under Goodguys sanction the March Meet had been postponed. "It wasn't an easy decision," said Goodguys Senior Vice President Marc Meadors. "The forecast is much more favorable for this coming weekend and we're confident we'll get the race completed on the second go around. The temperatures will rebound to the mid 60s which is perfect for racing."
