BMW CCA Club Racing's first race as a part of the SCCA's vintage racing program saw 23 BMWs contest the challenging Laguna Seca race course for a dual race weekend. Bruce Todd's E36 325is showed the way in both races for the K Prepared class and overall victories. D Modified entries Gino Lancelotti, Dave Kincaid and Gil Caravantes took the next three positions.

Halloween weekend's Buckeye Chapter Club race saw the year's largest field program saw 23 BMWs contest the challenging Laguna Seca race course for a dual race weekend. Buckeye Chapter, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio, October 30 and 31.

Halloween weekend's Buckeye Chapter Club race saw the year's largest field as 55 entries set out to close the eastern region's 1999 season at the challenging Mid-Ohio course. Entrants from the northeast, Canada, Florida, Texas Michigan and all points in between provided a wide range of competition in Sunday's one- hour enduro finale. Connecticut's Don Salama took his E30 M3 to the front for the overall win. The field included 24 M cars and a great turnout of eight 2002s providing great racing action throughout the field.

BMW NA Challenge Trophy standings continue to develop as Scott Galaba solidified the M Coupe title in H Prepared, with George Kissinger and Theo Teazis battling down to the wire in their H Stock E36 M3s and I Stock's E36 M3 drivers Robbie Kollar, Marcos Sowinski, Dan Davis and Tim Probert in a close battle for that class' honors. The last three races of the year at TWS, Buttonwillow and Thunderhill will decide the winners for this annual award presented by BMW of North America to the top drivers in BMW's M Coupe and E36 M cars.

The BMW CCA Club Racing program closes its 29-race season with over 500 licensed drivers in the program and great expectations for the new millennium season.
