CONCOURS FOUNDER HONORARY CHAIR FOR EYES*ON DESIGN
Motor City Event Features Top Talents In Auto Design

Amelia Island Concours Founder and Co-Chairman Bill Warner has been selected as the Honorary Chair for the 23rd annual "EyesOn Design" event scheduled for June 18-20, 2010. Sponsored annually by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO), EyesOn Design focuses on the design process and the many factors that influence it; previous chairs include GM's Bob Lutz and Edsel Ford.

As honorary chair, Warner will oversee the selection of best in show at the annual EyesOn Design Car Show to be held at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Gross Pointe Shores, MI, on Father's Day, June 20th. This year's theme is The Evolution of Automobile Design, and will celebrate world-class design in automotive, aviation and furniture. Proceeds from the event go to support the DIO's research and work with the visually impaired and blind around the world.

"I always wanted to be a car designer and I still do, and the EyesOn Design event is one of my favorites to attend," says Warner. "It is a great personal honor for me to be the honorary chair and I am very excited to be among so many of the stars of automotive design."
