V8 Supercar National Court of Appeal hearing

The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) can confirm that an appeal lodged by Walkinshaw Performance will be heard by the V8 Supercar National Court of Appeal at the CAMS National Office, Melbourne on Tuesday 9 June at 7.00pm.

The appeal was lodged following a decision by CAMS stewards not to hear a protest from five Holden teams regarding the legality of the TeamVodafone splitter mount.

The panel that will preside over the hearing will include Walter Sofronoff QC (Chairman), Barry Pilgrim (Deputy Chairman), and Graham Gibson QC.

The court has determined that media are not permitted to attend the hearing.
