TeamVodafone have secured their fourth 1-2 victory this season, Jamie Whincup taking out his 64th career race win with teammate Craig Lowndes in second.
After trading times with Ford driver Mark Winterbottom for pole position for this afternoon's 47-lap race, Whincup fell one tenth short and started from second on the grid.
With good tyre life and consistent driving, the #1 Holden pilot powered home to his 12th win of the season.

Consciously preparing to run a different pitstop strategy, Lowndes utlised the early safety car period to pit and switch to green soft compound tyres.
Lowndes gained 13 positions throughout the 46-lap race to take TeamVodafone to it's fourth 1-2 finish for the season.
The Brisbane-based team now have 13 1-2 podium finishes to their name, Whincup having won eight of those and Lowndes five.
