SEASON FINALE' ON SYDNEY STREETS FOR MCNALLY IN V8 UTES

Glenn McNally will try to advance his V8 Utes Series position this weekend at the Sydney 400 in what is the final round of the Series.

McNally currently sits 5th in the Series, just 36 points behind George Miedecke, after what has been an exception year for the West Australian.

After impressing in his rookie season last year, and finishing 14th in the standings, Glenn has stepped up this year to become a regular front runner and his results are a testament to that.

This weekend Glenn is on the track Friday for two practice sessions and qualifying at 4pm followed by race 1 on Saturday and two races on Sunday.

"I am really looking forward to getting onto the Sydney circuit for the first time," Glenn said.

"Street tracks are always interesting and fun places to race, the down side is that if you stuff up then there is usually a lot of damage.

"I am going to fight for fourth place in the series but a lot depends on what happens to George (Miedecke) this weekend.

"I will go out and do everything I can to have a good event and the series points will look after themselves," he said.
