INGALL SCORES SECOND QUICKEST TIME AT BARBAGALLO
Supercheap Auto Racing's Russell Ingall has emerged second fastest over the opening four practice sessions at today's Trading Post Perth Challenge - round 4 of the International V8 Supercar Championship.
The Enforcer smoked the field in the opening three sessions to finish quickest driver in all, before electing not to run a fresh set of tyres for the final session this afternoon and completed just 12 laps to cruise home mid-pack.
Still, his awesome 56.68s lap in the opening V8 Supercar practice session around the Barbagallo circuit was enough to see Ingall finish the day with the second quickest time behind Jamie Whincup's 56.67s lap in P4 this afternoon.
Opting not to run a fresh set of tyres in the final practice session puts The Enforcer in a strong position as he looks to qualify inside the top-10 for the first time this year when the session begins tomorrow at 10.50.
Race 7 of the V8 Supercar Championship gets underway at Barbagallo Raceway tomorrow afternoon at 14.05. Check your local guides and tune into Channel 7 for all your V8 Supercar action this weekend.

"Its been a good day all round and everything flowed without any
dramas which is a great way to start this event. After smashing out three
fastest times in the first three sessions we opted not to roll out on a
fresh set for P4 this afternoon and just completed a handful of laps to
play with some different setups. We played around a little with some rear
suspension setups but what we had from the start worked really well so
now its up to me to turn today's form into a good result in
qualifying and the race tomorrow."
