IRWIN Racing has unveiled the all-new Stone Brothers Racing built Ford Falcon FG V8 Supercar of Alex Davison.

A striking new livery design for the IRWIN Industrial Tools entry complements the new styling cues of the FG Falcon, which will make its race debut at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide on 19-22 March.

18 months in concept, design and construction, the IRWIN Racing Ford has been built to the stringent Project Blueprint guidelines to ensure parity between all V8 Supercars.

2009 marks a new partnership between Alex Davison, Stone Brothers Racing, and IRWIN Industrial Tools and all three parties are delighted with this year's look.

"I have my helmet, my race suit and now the car which looks great," said Alex Davison.

"The rich blue paint with the bright IRWIN logos will really make the car stand out.

"The actual detail that has not only gone into the livery design, but also the car's construction is second to none. This goes for the internal environment, with a lot of work going into making sure I am comfortable in the car as well.

"I am ready to go. The Clipsal 500 can't come quick enough!"

For brothers Jimmy and Ross Stone, the unveiling of the car marks the completion of the first step of Stone Brothers Racing's FG Ford Falcon program.

"The team has worked really well to build the new FG Falcon and everyone at SBR is excited about the first test and the 2009 season in general," said Ross Stone.

"There is so much potential in not only the car, but also Alex and our partnership with IRWIN Industrial Tools.

"We are very proud in our team's history and its successes. It would be very special to add to that with the IRWIN Racing Falcon in 2009."

Nick Pritchard, Managing Director of IRWIN Industrial Tools is delighted with the fresh new 2009 look.

"Everyone involved with IRWIN Industrial Tools from our staff through to the end user can be truly proud of the 2009 IRWIN Racing Ford Falcon FG," said Pritchard.

"This is our third year in V8 Supercars and we have really evolved to a whole new level in 2009.

"Jimmy and Ross, along with the entire team have done a world class job with this car, even before turning a wheel.

"We have plenty of activities off-track to complement what Alex and Stone Brothers Racing are doing on the track; so 2009 is sure to be an exciting time for IRWIN Industrial Tools."

The IRWIN Racing Ford will go through further technical checks and updates ahead of its first shakedown on March 9, before a full day's test at Queensland Raceway on March 11.
