DEWALT TOOLS GETS ON BOARD WITH FPR IN 2007

February 26, 2007 - Ford Performance Racing (FPR) welcomes one of the world's best known names in tools, DEWALT, as an associate sponsor for the 2007 season.

DEWALT has been involved in Australian motor racing as a sponsor and supplier to several teams over the years, electing in 2007 to become an FPR partner as the major blue oval team heads towards its most successful season yet following their second placing in the 2006 V8 Supercar Teams' Championship.

For almost 80 years, DEWALT has earned a reputation for designing, engineering and building tough portable industrial machinery. Featuring state-of-the-art engineering in every product of the detailed DEWALT range, these tools have been embraced by professional tradesmen around the world.

DEWALT is currently the number one selling brand of professional power tools in North America, making the new FPR sponsor the fastest growing professional power tool brand in the world over the last five years.

According to FPR Commercial Manager Simon Derrick, "DEWALT have an extensive motorsports heritage around the world so we are excited by the opportunity to partner with them in our market. There is an excellent fit with the V8 Supercar Championship Series and we will support DEWALT with a number of innovative programs nationally to leverage their involvement with FPR. "

According to Daniel Lawlor, Brand Manager - Industrial Products Group, "DEWALT are pleased to be supporters of FPR. There is a strong link with the performance required by today's professional power tools users and the performance required to be a top V8 supercar team. Both DEWALT and FPR show how this performance delivers results. We are looking forward to this year's championship and to continuing our relationship with FPR into the future. '

The familiar DEWALT logo will be seen on the lower windscreen strip of both FPR cars for the first time at the opening round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series, the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide from March 1.
