Will Davison has grabbed pole for the last-ever V8 Supercars Championship race in Hamilton.
Yesterday's race winner and teammate Mark Winterbottom locked out the front row of the grid for Ford Performance Racing, the two separated by just 0.01s.
The pole is the seventh of Davison's career.
"It's quite warm today so we didnt exactly know the conditions," said Davison.
Frosty and I both want to out-drag one another into the first corner, but we'll see who gets down there first.
"On the second set of tyres I thought I'd thrown it away at the sensor at the chicane. I just hung one out there at the end. Another mega result for the team.

For Winterbottom it was a great recovery from steering dramas yesterday that left him 23rd in Race 5.
"1-2 that's the best start to the day you can have," he said.
But the big news was the crash of Jamie Whincup.
The reigning Champion crashed at the turn 4 chicane after launching off the kerbs, severely damaging the front right of his Commodore.
He managed to park his car down an escape road and not bring out a red flag, with his time good enough in the end for third fastest.
Team Principal Adrian Burgess believes the team has the parts and time required to have the #1 Holden repaired and ready for the 59-lap race this afternoon.
His teammate Craig Lowndes locked out the second row for TeamVodafone with David Reynolds fifth from Tony D'Alberto, Garth Tander, Fabian Coulthard, James Moffat and Lee Holdsworth making up the rest of the top 10.
Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen was 14th fastest with one second covering the top 20 cars.
The final race of the ITM400 Hamilton will be at 3.00pm local time (1.00pm AEST) this afternoon.
