Bright finished 17th in today's third and final race at Symmons Plains.
Jason Bright says he and Team BOC will leave no stone unturned as they try to understand why his VF Commodore is struggling for pace.
Bright finished 17th in today's third and final race at Symmons Plains for round two of the V8 Supercar Championship.
After gaining a number of spots early in the race, a brake lock up at the end of the straight lost Bright positions and he left the pits following a pitstop for fuel and tyres in 20th position.
From there, the Team BOC VF Commodore made up a handful of places but Bright was left disappointed and determined to fix the underlying problems.
"It's been a frustrating weekend. We had a glimmer of pace yesterday but nothing at all today. We haven't had a weekend like this where we've struggled for pace in 12 months so we're going to have a really good look at everything. All the components, everything. It's not the same car I had last year, that's for sure."
Craig Lowndes won race three of the weekend with a dominant display ahead of team mate Jamie Whincup and James Courtney. Lockwood Racing's Fabian Coulthard came home fifth after starting the race in 11th place on the grid.
