Live Video Streaming Planned for Night Before the 500

INDIANAPOLIS, May 27 - Live video streaming of Saturday night's USF2000 National Championship race at O'Reilly Raceway Park is scheduled to air on usf2000.com, starmazda.com and indycar.com.

Coverage of the Star Mazda race is also planned for the same Web sites.

The USF2000 race, which is presented by Cooper Tires and powered by Mazda, will occur sometime around 6 p.m. Eastern time, and the live video streaming will begin approximately 10 minutes before the race. Fans should tune in periodically to see if the coverage has started. They should also realize that the schedule at short-track races is always subject to change.

For USF2000.com, the coverage is slated to be located at usf2000.com/usf2000live.htm.

Live timing and scoring is also planned for usf2000.com and starmazda.com.

The broadcasters involved in the video streaming are industry veterans Kevin Lee, Mark Jaynes and Jake Query.

Lee has served as a pit reporter or turn announcer for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network's coverage of events at the track since 2001 and he also works on the IMS public address team. He has been a pit reporter or turn announcer for the IZOD IndyCar Series since 2004.

Lee has also worked on VERSUS racing telecasts.

He covered the 500 and other events at IMS for WIBC-1070-AM in Indianapolis from 1993-2007 and now anchors the racing coverage for WFNI-1070-AM (1070 The Fan), as well as broadcasts for the Indiana Pacers' and the Indianapolis Colts' radio networks.

Jaynes joined the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network in 1996. He was a pit reporter for five years and has since served as the backstretch/turn announcer for all IZOD IndyCar Series events and is positioned in Turn 3 for the Indy 500 and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.

His career in broadcasting covers more than 25 years at stations in Martinsville, Terre Haute and Indianapolis.

An Indianapolis native, Jake Query has been a member of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network since 2007. He debuted on the network as a pit reporter for the 91st Indianapolis 500. He now alternates as a pit reporter and turn announcer for all IZOD IndyCar events.

Prior to working with IMS Query worked for WIBC Radio and WRTV-TV in Indianapolis, as well as Fox Sports Net in St. Louis.

Similar live coverage is also slated for the USF2000 race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa on June 19.
